RISON – Rison In The Fall organizers are excited to announce the first Rison In The Fall Fun Run/Walk for Saturday, October 15. The event, sponsored by Access Medical Clinic, consists of a 5K run, 1-mile walk and 1-mile run for kids.
The nm will start at 8:30 a.m. and the walk will begin at 8:45 a.m.
The cost is $20 for the 5K for adults, which includes a t-shirt. The cost is $5 for the 1-mile walk, and $5 for the 1 mile fun nm for kids.
T-shirts will only be given to 5K participants. Medals will be given to first, second and third place runners and walkers in each age division.
Door prizes will be given after the race.
The route will be announced closer to time of the event.
Payments can be made at the Cleveland County Herald office. Cash, card and check payments are accepted. Checks should be made payable to Rison Shine with ‘Fall 5K’ noted in the memo.
