The Rison Farmers Market will open its 2021 season Thursday, June 3 at 4:30 p.m. in the FBT Community Park in downtown Rison under new leadership.
Local farmers and vendors of homemade items are encouraged to set up.
Those who live outside of Rison are welcome set up. The market will be catering only to vendors who are offering fruits and vegetables, cottage food items, crafts and/or artisan pieces. She said mass-manufactured items and direct sales products will not be sold.
Vendors should pre-register online or contact
Hunter Taylor at (870) 718-4787, or Taylor Engel at (417) 793-4950, at least 24 hours prior to the market date so that booths can be planned. In addition, vendors should inform the market what products they intend to sell so those can be advertised in advance.
Check-in for the vendors will begin at 3:30 p.m. and sales will start at 4:30 p.m.
The market is scheduled to be held each Thursday in Rison. Additional special event markets may be announced at a later time.
